They will award works for the construction of the Jorge Chávez runway in early 2020. Third stage for the works in the terminal will be awarded to the end of the next year. The technical and commercial evaluation of the proposals for the earthworks will be carried out next October. Thus, it is expected that the field works must start in December. For its part, the tender for the construction of the runway and the control tower, more technical works, would take place at the beginning of 2020. And the third stage, corresponding to the terminal, would be awarded the last quarter of that year (Diario Gestión).

  • Marcona Railroad to Andahuaylas plans to reach more than 15 mines. The rail project includes a mineral collection point that is produced in Apurimac and Cusco, and would be an alternative to the current southern mining hall (Diario Gestión).

  • Cable Car Cerro San Cristóbal would be awarded in 2020. Proinversión proposes that in December of this year the evaluation report will be approved and incorporated into the project promotion process (Diario Gestión).


WEDNESDAY 18

  • Win, Peruvian operator of 100% fiber optic Internet, will expand its services to all districts of Lima. The investment to expand the service will exceed US $ 6 million in the remainder of 2019 (Diario Gestión).


TUESDAY 17

  • Hochschild Mining prepares drilling near the Arcata mine. It is a small private mine with strong potential in which they are investing US$ 5 million in drilling (Diario Gestión).
