SPOTLIGHT

Perupetro began the promotion process to award the concession contract for the exploitation of Lot 201, located in the Ucayali region, which provides for initial investments of US $ 65 million for oil extraction, with an extraction capacity of 1,500 barrels per day, but in all that area it is estimated that up to 6 million barrels of light crude oil could be extracted. To promote investment in new exploratory drilling in said lot, it is that, according to Perupetro, it has been defined that the award for this tender will be granted to the bidder that offers to make the greatest amount of investments in exploration (Diario Gestión).

MONDAY 16

  • It is expected that in 2021 works will begin to expand South Pier. The project will allow to expand the berthing line of container ships in the South Pier, of the current 650 meters, at 1,050 meters and will require an investment of US $ 200 million (Diario Gestion).

  • Five new acquisitions between US $ 50 million and $ 100 million are prepared. The sectors with the highest performance this year are agriculture and those related to consumption (Diario Gestion).


FRIDAY 13

  • Rabobank would be the new strategic partner of the Caja Municipal de Arequipa, which would strengthen its corporate governance and allow it to continue growing (Diario Gestion).


THURSDAY 12

  • Solarpack closed the purchase of 90.5% that it did not own in the photovoltaic solar projects in Peru, Tacna Solar and Panamericana Solar, for US$ 51.5 million (Diario Gestion).


WEDNESDAY 11

  • Colegios Peruanos S.A., made a public issuance in the local capital market by placing bonds for US$ 72 million for a term of 15 years, within the framework of its First Securitization Bond Program for US$ 320 million (Diario Gestion).

TUESDAY 10
