In April they start studies to design and build the port of Chimbote.

By the end of this year it is expected that the Regional Government of Ancash will have the technical file for the integrated port project of Chimbote ready, and launch by 2020 the public promotion of the project through Proinversion.

The chairman of the National Port Authority, said that, together with the Regional Government of Ancash, an agreement was signed to develop a comprehensive project in the design and construction of the port of Chimbote, which is expected to have a US$ 110 millions. 


  • By the end of this year it is expected that the Regional Government of Ancash have ready the technical file of the integral project of Chimbote, so that 2020 can make the public release of it (Diario Gestión).

  • The National Port Authority, maintained that the next three to four months would have approved the technical file related to the start of works of the Port of Salaverry (Diario Gestión).

  • Grupo Centenario will invest US$ 25 millions in the purchase of land in the south zone of Lima, between Lurín and Asta (Diario Gestión).


  • The Canadian Trevali Mining Corporation said that the Santander mine for this year will carry out surface exploration of US$ 139 millions, which includes 4,500 meters of resource definition in said mine (Diario Gestión).
