ICCGSA informed that it is implementing a process of business restructuring, which will involve the sale of certain assets not related to the construction sector

Javier Jordán, vice president of ICCGSA, informed that the company has decided to expand the portfolio of assets that will be sold in order to improve the economic situation of the company. In that sense, the most important assets that will be sold by the company involve ICCGSA Agroindustrial and the corporate building located on Andrés Reyes street, in the district of San Isidro. With this sales process, the company expects a minimum return of US $ 50 million. The sale of the 50% participation held by the company in Corporación Agrícola Olmos, which has 1,000 hectares dedicated to asparagus, avocado and grape crops, would represent a great opportunity to obtain resources.

On the other hand, Jordán declared that the company will not sell its stake in the Kuélap cable car project, where it currently owns 75%; Nor will it proceed with the sale of its forestry business, which is in pre-operative stage, which would result in little liquidity.


  • The Municipality of Lima informed that different commercial projects with a total investment of more than US$ 200 million, will be developed in the district of Cercado de Lima (Gestión).

  • Kuntur Wasi reported that it is evaluating the possibility of initiating an arbitration proceeding against the Peruvian State for the resolution of the concession contract for the "Chinchero International Airport" project (Gestión).

  • The Peruvian government reported that in the next few days it will call for the the tender process for the 500 kV high voltage transmission line project between Peru and Ecuador (Gestión).

  • The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation reported the transfer of 67 projects for the execution of reconstruction works in favor of different district municipalities in the northern region of the country. In addition, the ministry will assume 19 new infrastructure projects in the departments of Piura and Lambayeque (Gestión).

  • The Ministry of Transport and Communications reported the completion of the direct negotiation with Kuntur Wasi, former concessionaire of the "Chinchero International Airport" project, as the company did not accept to deliver the 357 hectares of land where the project would be developed (Semana Económica).


  • Petroperú reported that it expects to select, during the first semester of 2018, a new partner to execute the operation of Lot 192 (Gestión).

  • The Ministry of Housing, Construction and Sanitation reported the execution of an agreement with the municipalities of the districts of Lamas, Huallaga and El Dorado, in the San Martín region, with the purpose of promoting the construction of a wastewater treatment plant for those districts, under the scheme of public-private partnership (Gestión).


  • After the authorization issued by the Ministry of Economy and Finance in favor of Petroperú to obtain financing for an amount up to US$ 1,300 million, the oil company reported that next April it will call different banks to negotiate the terms of a new loan for the additional financing of the modernization project of the Talara refinery (Gestión).


  • Dirige SA, the management company of Doe Run Peru, reported that it is regularizing its registration with INDECOPI. Likewise, the company informed that this situation won’t affect the sale process of Doe Run Peru's assets that will take place in March and April 2018 (Gestión).
