According to information provided by the Ministry of Energy and Mines, the delivery of the assets of the project "Gasoducto Sur Peruano" would take place within a maximum period of 45 days
The Ministry of Energy and Mines confirmed the execution of an agreement with the consortium Gasoducto Sur Peruano, in which they agreed the terms for the delivery of the assets of the natural gas pipeline project located in the south of the country. The agreement was taken under the terms approved by Emergency Decree N° 001-2017.
By virtue of the signed agreement, the consortium will deliver the project assets to the company Estudios Técnicos S.A., an administrator appointed by Osinergmin, who will be responsible for the custody and conservation thereof. The delivery schedule agreed between the consortium and the administrator will have a deadline that cannot exceed 45 calendar days.
The assets to be delivered include the works, equipment and facilities provided for the execution of the project, as well as engineering studies prepared by the concessionaire. Nevertheless, it is pending to determine the following steps after the delivery of the assets, since the Emergency Decree N° 001-2017 does not establish a procedure for the valuation of such assets, which according to the consortium would be approximately US$ 2,500 million.
